ADAC Nurburgring 24 Hours

We are pleased to be able to offer Radio Le Mans listeners and all race fans the opportunity to join us at the Nurburgring for the annual 24 hours endurance race in 2012.
The races and events are competed over a combination of the GP circuit (5.1km) and the famous Nordschleife (20.8km), this combined circuit is recognised and accepted as one of motor racings toughest challenges. With its 73 bends, including the fabulous Karussell, a 210 degree banked corner, and over 300mtrs in altitude difference from the lowest to highest points, it is no wonder that the legendary Sir Jackie Stewart described it as “the greatest and most challenging race circuit in the world.”
The 24-hour race at the Nordschleife is accepted as the toughest race of its kind anywhere in the world, as Jorg Muller, BMW race team puts it “The 24 hours race on the Nordschleife is one of the most gruelling tests for driver and material. You're not up against the other driveres here, you're up against the track itself”
Spectacular duels, High-Tech meets passion and the best fans in the world - the 24 hour race is the ultimate in long distance classic races on one of the most challenging racing circuits in the world. Also expect a first class motor racing party lasting all four days – this is a motorsport spectacular not to be missed!
The 2012 ADAC Zurich 24h Race at the Nürburgring will attract thousands of people and again the fans may look forward to a top class motor racing weekend. In addition to the 24 hours race itself, there will be a support programme featuring several other on and off track highlights. From the Adenauer Racing Day through the ‘Drift Challenge’ to the 24h Classic, a race contested by classic endurance racing vehicles at the legendary Nordschleife.

What is included:
- Return ferry crossings from Dover - Calais with P&O ferries (Thursday - Monday)
- Permit to camp at the official Nurburgring campsite
- General Entrance tickets, including access to the open grandstands, public areas on the Nordschleife, as well as paddock, pit lane and grid access prior to the race.
