unique atmosphere of the Le Mans 24hrs 2011.
Designed with the
owners of high performance and prestige marques cars in mind the exclusive “Le Mans
24hrs Executive Château” four night camping package invites you to join
fellow enthusiasts in the secluded grounds of our superb French Château
d’Eporcé, approximately thirty minutes easy country drive from Le Mans
town and the Le Mans 24 hours circuit.
Château
d’Eporcé is the perfect choice for those seeking to avoid the noisy
high life activity associated with the circuit and other campsites. The
extensive secluded country grounds of Château
d’Eporcé offers guests the peaceful, comfortable and secure location
they seek, complimented by ample permanent shower and toilet
facilities. The number of campers at d'Eporcé is strictly limited to
preserve the natural ambience of the château, renowned for its unique
relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Staying inside the château has been
the choice of many leading race teams over the years and 2011 will be
no exception. The presence of team members and drivers, particularly at
the Farewell Sunday Evening BBQ has always been popular with our
guests.
When
planning a short visit to France camping may not be an immediate or
obvious choice but it has always been an accepted tradition at the Le
Mans 24 Hours and was first introduced way back in the 1920’s when the
Brits entered teams and opted to stay overnight at the circuit. Château
d’Eporcé quickly removes any pre conceived ideas you may have about
camping with its modern facilities, ample space and pre erected tents. This ensures not
only a memorable “Le Mans 24 Hours Experience” but also fond memories of the
French countryside and staying in the grounds of a magnificent French
Château.
Executive Camping Package Details:
All
Packages are based on four nights (Thursday 10th - Sunday 13th June inclusive) with
two people sharing a pre-erected tent.
Package prices are per person
based on a minimum of 2 people in a car.
The following facilities and services are all included:
* Secure & spacious reserved tent pitches.
* Four person pre-erected tent complete with two airbeds and chairs.
* Fully serviced permanent toilet and shower facilities.
* Safe parking for cars.
* Return coach transfer to the circuit on race days.
* Breakfast served each morning
* Welcome Arrival Drink
* Thursday Moules and Frites Evening (incl. 1/2 bottle of wine or soft drinks)
* Celebration Pre-race Banquet Friday Evening (incl. 1/2 bottle of wine or soft drinks)
* Wine tasting with canapes Sunday afternoon
* Hog Roast Farewell Barbecue Sunday
* Welcome pack and Polo shirt.
* “Le Tour” - Friday guided coach tour of the circuit and pits.
* Entrance tickets to the Le Mans 24 hours circuit.
* Channel Crossings of your Choice.

Optional Extras
Grandstand Seats: Various locations available. Prices from £75.00 per seat. Click here for details on Le Mans 24 hours grandstand seats.
Deposit: A deposit of £100.00 per person must be paid at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
LD Lines: Operate ferry routes from Dover - Boulogne, Newhaven - Dieppe & Portsmouth - Le Havre. They use a fluid pricing system (similar to budget airlines) and prices will change depending on availability and demand. If you wish to travel on any of these routes the exact price for your individual package will be confirmed at the time of booking & must be paid in full.
Brittany Ferries: Crossings are available from Portsmouth to St. Malo at a supplement of £85.00 per vehicle.
Weekend Sailings: Sailings from Caen, Cherbourg & St. Malo at a weekend will incur a supplement of £20.00 per vehicle.
Fast Ferries: Brittany Ferries offer fast ferries from Portsmouth & Poole to Cherbourg & Caen. These are available for a supplement of £45.00 per vehicle.
Condor Ferries: Packages from the Channel Islands are available on request.
En-route Hotels: Campanile & Kyriad hotels are available on request.
Recorded Delivery: Most UK ticket packs will be posted by recorded delivery at a cost of £6.00. Ticket packs for large groups and overseas mail will be priced accordingly. Please ask for details.
